Commitment to Corps Members, Past and Present

Thank you for your swift and generous assistance... a Royal Marine Corporal is an elite member of an elite organisation... I know if I see 'Wendy Sheen' on a communication, I have a friend on the case. We've never met but I admire her commitment to the Corps members past and present.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Below you will see a heartening tribute to Wendy Sheen. Wendy works from RMA Central Office, ensuring that welfare support is delivered to the Royal Marines Corps Family as effectively and efficiently as possible. The grants that she approves are from the Royal Marines Benevolent Fund, which is one of the key funds of The Royal Marines Charity. This is a perfect example of the RMA and TRMC working closely together to the benefit of the Corps Family!

On behalf of both charities as well as those who have been helped by grants from the RMBF actioned by the RMA, we would like to take this opportunity to say a public "Thank you" to Wendy.

Mike Ellis & Jonathan Ball

Chief Executives RMA & TRMC

Dear Sir

SSAFA DUNDEE & ANGUS

I refer to above and would wish to thank you for your swift and generous assistance for Mr…

As you will be aware, a Royal Marine Corporal is an elite member of an elite organisation. They are a justifiably proud Corps of Servicemen. They are, without a doubt, at the top of their game. Imagine then, the man in the chair that I met. Entirely dependent upon others for everything. His partner is totally devoted to him and is at his side every day she can. I told her I would thank you on her behalf.

Without you, people like me are nosey caseworkers asking personal questions, with empty pockets. You and the other Assistance Providers help me fulfill my role. Watching "the charity management system" as it does its magic is so reassuring as everyone pulls together for the welfare of the client.

On a personal note, I know if I see 'Wendy Sheen' on a communication, I have a friend on the case. We've never met but I admire her commitment to the Corps members past and present. Thank you Wendy.

Yours sincerely,

SSAFA Caseworker
