Description

The Royal Marines Charity (RM Charity) is the overarching fundraising and grant making charity for Royal Marines and their families. Money raised can be used for very wide purposes. RMA's Highlight

Overarching fundraising and grant-making charity of the Naval Service to the Naval Family and Naval Charities.

Description

The RNRMC provides through-life grants to the Naval Service Family. For those in uniform, the grants help boost morale, improve facilities and ease the pressure that life in the Service can bring. The RNRMC also provides valuable funds for naval and military charities that work with families and veterans -especially those experiencing difficulty with child support, ill-health, old age or hard times.

Description

The Royal Navy and Royal Marines Children’s Fund is the only charity dedicated to supporting children whose parents work, or have worked, for the Naval Service. The needs of the children are paramount and help is provided when not available from family or statutory sources.

Fast, free and confidential SAIL is an advice service dedicated to all seafarers and their families across the UK. It’s run by Greenwich Citizens Advice Bureaux on behalf of the Seafarers Hospital Society and funded in partnership with Seafarers UK and Greenwich Hospital.

Description

Seafarers' Advice and Information Line is the Citizens Advice service just for working and former seafarers, their families and dependants. Contact us for free advice on benefits, debt, housing and much more. Cornerstone to many charities' benevolence processes providing 'Form A' case numbers, caseworkers and grant requests.

Description

SSAFA provides lifelong support to those who are serving or who have ever served in the British Army, the Royal Navy and the Royal Air Force, and their families. They offer practical, financial and emotional support to individuals facing issues ranging from financial hardship to homelessness to family breakdown. SSAFA's freephone number is open Monday-Friday 09:00 - 17:30.

Description

The White Ensign Association provides an unbiased, confidential and free advice service to serving and former members of the Royal Navy, Royal Marines, their Reserves and Families on matters covering employment, finance, resettlement and personal administration. The Association is now firmly established as one of the prime links between the Royal Navy, the City, Commerce and Industry.
