Find a branch or club near you

You don’t have to live near a Royal Marines Unit or establishment to be a part of the Royal Marines Association. With over 80 branches and interest groups in the UK and overseas, you can be sure to find a warm reception near you. »

Our branches are where our members get together and where local welfare advice is given. You can transfer to different branches as you re-locate, or visit other branches if you're travelling around. If you cannot reach any of our branches, joining our HQ Roll will keep you up-to-date and enable you to continue receiving membership benefits. Membership will also enable you to apply to join RMA Clubs and Societies.

    Gig Club

The RMA Gig Club is a virtual branch of the RMA-TRMC and the objectives are to promote, teach, and facilitate the sport of Cornish Pilot Gig Rowing, both competitive and recreational.

The Club is open to all serving and retired members of the RMA-TRMC.  At present we meet twice a week rowing out of the Camber at RMB Stonehouse, Plymouth and take part in as many regatta’s as possible.

Rowing a 32 foot gig in ‘open’ water can be challenging and demanding.  Taster sessions are held as an introduction to Cornish Pilot Gigs, instruction on the basic rowing techniques and then a session out in Plymouth Sound mixed in with some of our more experienced rowers -  £2 a row.

    Annual voluntary donations.

For more information contact the Gig Club Secretary Linda Stacey.

    Golf Society

The aim of the Royal Marines Association Golf Society (RMAGS) is quite simple: to play golf among friends.

If you are golfer and a member of the Royal Marines Association, you are invited to join. There is no minimum handicap to join.

The main ‘season’ for RMA GS golf will be March – October inclusive annually, though matches can be played outside this period.
