Find a branch or club near you

You don’t have to live near a Royal Marines Unit or establishment to be a part of the Royal Marines Association. With over 80 branches and interest groups in the UK and overseas, you can be sure to find a warm reception near you. »

Our branches are where our members get together and where local welfare advice is given. You can transfer to different branches as you re-locate, or visit other branches if you're travelling around. If you cannot reach any of our branches, joining our HQ Roll will keep you up-to-date and enable you to continue receiving membership benefits. Membership will also enable you to apply to join RMA Clubs and Societies.

    American US Marines

“My fellow Marines, you have a unique opportunity to join with your Brother Royal and U.S. Marines from the UK in order to foster a brotherhood of Marines. Let me encourage you to get involved. I will join you on occasion.” - J Livingston, Major General USMC (Ret), Medal of Honor Recipient

The American US Marines Branch of the Royal Marines Association is a virtual branch which aims to bring together both serving and former United States Marines and Royal Marines. It seeks to build close ties between our two Corps, encouraging membership from those Royal Marines who have served on exchange in the US with those of the USMC who have served in Royal Marine Units; indeed US or Royal Marines who have served together are encouraged to join such that we can encourage the bonds of friendship built through shared values and experiences in the service of our Corps and Countries.

    Boxing

The Royal Marines Boxing Branch is a virtual branch that aims to pull together current and former Royal Marines, Boxers, Coaches, families and other services, boxing supporters both in the Uk and abroad.  As the newest branch, I wanted to take this opportunity and reflect on how becoming part of The Royal Marines Charity and specifically the Boxing Branch really can help people’s transition, mindset and wellbeing.

The process begins by registering yourself as a member of the RMA. You then need to join the Boxing Branch on the RMA website or by contacting enquiries@rma-trmc.org. From here the Membership Secretary will then contact you and relay any prevalent information.  The Branch will hold Bi-monthly meetings via a social media platform such as Zoom.  Any issues or queries regarding anything to do with membership or subscriptions should be directed to Stu Elwell, Membership Secretary on membershiprmabb@gmail.com

The Branch Committee is made up of a wealth of boxing experience and one thing continues to re occur.  That one thing is the success they’ve gone onto achieve both whilst serving and post leaving.  The Branch is the perfect place to network or catch up with old friends you may have lost touch with.  We still have a lot of active boxing coaches and if anybody can help others with matching, sponsorship, equipment, this surely should be the one stop shop to fix all!

We’ve Team GB Performance Coaches which I think is an outstanding achievement, you all should be commended as each one of you is very humble in your own success and I’m privileged to count you as a friend foremost and as an ambassador for boxing.

If you fancy spinning some ‘dits’ about face-blocking, chatting about big name fights or just catching up then go ahead and sign up.  Post COVID -19 we will be arranging several socially distanced events so you can put into force the ‘HAVE GLOVES WILL TRAVEL’ ethos.

There is a suggested donation of £10 annually for the Boxing Branch.
